Hi, I'm Kristii.
I help women from entrepreneurial families get clear on what they want to pursue and build something of their own. That might be a new venture, an initiative inside the family business, or a project that reflects their own ambitions.
Her Own Board is a six-month coaching program from KSK Coaching, created by executive coach Kristii Krugel, that helps women from entrepreneurial families choose a direction, build something of their own, and see it through. It uses my Her Own Board™ method.
For five years, I chaired the Pick Group's Board Development Training Program, a seven-month program preparing young professionals to serve on nonprofit boards. More than 60 people completed it while I was chair, learning governance, fiduciary responsibility, strategic planning, board recruitment, fundraising, and the legal duties of board service.
Along the way, I noticed the people who thrived weren't the loudest. They were the ones who could hear their own judgment in a room full of strong opinions.
The value of a great board isn't simply access to accomplished people. It's knowing whom to consult, what to ask, when to listen, when to challenge an idea, and how to apply what you've learned. That's the real-world skill behind Her Own Board.

I studied anthropology, so I pay close attention to how families and cultures shape the choices we make. Before coaching, I worked in international contract negotiations, federal and state government contracts, and leading distributed teams.

I developed a method that works specifically when a client has too many choices; it’s called Her Own Board™. It's as structured as any board meeting. I work with women one-on-one and in small cohorts. Every engagement is confidential, and the client owns the agenda.
